Franklin's Aphorisms

An aphorism is  pithy observation that contains a general truth, such as, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Example 1: "if you would know the value of money, try to borrow some."
In The Autobiography, Franklin examines his own life and applies higher standards to his behavior. The aphorisms offer witty advice to the general public.

Example 2: "if your head is wax, don't walk in the sun."

Example 3: "One who sits between two chairs may easily fall down."
